The floor-standing, condensing gas boilers in the TRIGON® L PLUS product range are the result of extensive research and development as well as the use of the highest quality components. This results in a unique boiler design with two heat exchangers that can work independently of each other. This condensing boiler is not only technically excellent, but was primarily developed for easy operation and maintenance. It is the most compact floor standing boiler available. Boilers can be fitted in cascade in-line or back-to-back offering great flexibility. The TRIGON® L PLUS offers an absolute PLUS in every respect for all commercial applications.

Key features at a glance
Sustainable and future-proof technology
The stainless steel heat exchanger with patented HEX3 technology guarantees even heat transfer, consistent efficiency and low emissions. At the same time, the three combustion zones that characterise HEX3 technology reduce NOx and CO emissions.
Built-in ‘back up’
The TRIGON® L PLUS is the first floor-standing gas condensing boiler with a built-in cascade thanks to the two independent heat exchangers and a modulation ratio of up to 1:10.

Plug & Play
By integrating the main components inside the boiler, such as the pump and non-return valves, installation time, costs and space requirements are significantly reduced. Thanks to the technical design, all important components are accessible from the front. The control panel, which is mounted in a visible position, and a wide range of accessories make quick installation and commissioning very easy.

Capacity and flexibility
With cascades in series or back-to-back, TRIGON® L PLUS achieves impressive outputs of up to 1.6 MW. The versatile installation and cascade solutions enable quick and easy installation, even in existing systems, thanks to the integrated components of the primary heating circuit.

The boiler shell is fully insulated with polypropylene for improved efficiency and quiet operation.

Always connected and controlled
TRIGON® L PLUS is compatible with the current common protocols used in building automation. This means that the boiler can be easily adapted to the requirements of a property while delivering ideal efficiency levels.
Equipped for the future: H2-ready
The gas condensing boiler is already suitable and certified for operation with up to 20% hydrogen and biomethane.
Ready to plug & play
Thanks to the integrated pumps in the TRIGON® L PLUS setup time is reduced and additional costs become obsolete. On top of that the boiler will be delivered with non-return valve and cascade manager already installed – ready to plug & play.
By integrating main components within the boiler, such as the pump and non return valves, installation time, costs and space required are all significantly reduced. Thanks to the new HMI (Human Machine Interface) and a wide range of accessories, quick installations and commissioning become very simple. With our backpack solution single boilers come already equipped with low loss header or plate heat exchanger.
Efficient technology – For you and the environment
The reliable HEX3-technology offers high efficiency at lowest emissions of NOx and CO. That’s why the new TRIGON® L PLUS matches the requirements of NOx-class 6 effortlessly.
Optimised combustion zones
By managing specific zones with different requirements, a maximum energy yield can be achieved at lowest emissions. In zone 1, temperatures go up to over 1000°C and the formation of NOx is barely possible here. Thanks to a quick stream and a rapid temperature decrease flue, gas temperatures are kept above 600°C which facilitates an optimal CO formation. Condensation and the transfer of remaining flue gas energy take place at approx. 56°C in zone 3.
Keeps the heat and the noise inside
The full insulation made of expanded polypropylene ensures that the heat stays in the right place: inside the boiler. This same insulation also helps contain noise, ensuring quieter operation. That means both you and the surrounding environment enjoy the benefits of reduced sound levels.Made easy: Installation, integration and information
The wide variety of supported bus modules facilitate a better integration into the existing “Building Management Systems” MODBUS, KNX, LON und BACNET. This way installation and monitoring of devices becomes easier.
Newly developed control system
The newly developed circuit board with Master-Slave logic ensures the efficient use of both heat exchangers in conjunction with the cascade manager.
Operation with highest comfort
The HMI control panel has been reworked and modernised completly. Besides a full touch functionality, the display offers numerous other functions such as simulations for tests and trainings.
Robust at heart
In the process of condensation, sulphur- and nitric acid permanently corrode the surface of the heat exchanger. This causes a penetration of the oxide coating of the material and leads to corrosion, which inevitably diminishes the thermal conductivity. The corrosion resistance of stainless steel however is four times stronger than the resistance of aluminium! That’s why the new TRIGON® L PLUS systems are equipped with high quality stainless steel components throughout the whole combustion cycle.
The power of the heat exchanger – x2
With a capacity range of 60 kW to 200 kW (as a single boiler) and up to 1.6 MW in cascade installations, there is a wide variety of possible applications in the commercial sector. This is due to the internal redundancy: Two heat exchangers work independently in the tightest of spaces. It is with good reason the TRIGON® L PLUS claims to be the most compact cascade on the market.
Hassle free maintenance
The sophisticated technical planning also extends to the maintenance of the device which reduces the necessary service to a minimum.
Back pain? Not with us.
Maintenance and technical service can be very uncomfortable, especially when the boiler components are difficult to reach. With the TRIGON® L PLUS all components are easily accessible from the front through the detachable cover.
The HMI is placed on top of the device, regardless of a cascade or single boiler configuration. Through this, installation, maintenance, inspection and operation are simplified enormously.

TRIGON® L PLUS
Every component of the THISION® L PLUS and TRIGON® L PLUS has been engineered for exceptional performance. With output ranges from 60 kW to 1600 kW, these systems provide maximum flexibility. They’re compact, lightweight, and highly efficient. The THISION® L PLUS is the most powerful wall-hung boiler in its class, while the TRIGON® L PLUS is the most compact and lightweight floor-standing model. With a total of 14 models available—7 wall-hung and 7 floor-standing—these boilers offer truly versatile solutions for a wide range of applications.
Installation
The TRIGON® L PLUS is incredibly flexible and is available in either in-line or back-to-back configurations for up to eight boilers, delivering heat outputs up to 1.6 MW. The systems include all the components necessary to complete the primary heating circuit, with the cascade system specifically designed for quick, simple and effective installation. You can also get this boiler as a wall-hung option with the THISION® L PLUS.

Configuration TRIGON® L PLUS
Exhaust pipes
A wide range of exhaust systems for all applications and systems. Exhaust pipes are available in rigid or flexible versions. The systems are available in plastic and metal. Modern exhaust systems make expensive chimney renovations unnecessary, while plug-in technology facilitates quick and easy installation.
Cylinders
ELCO offers a wide range of different cylinders for the provision of domestic hot water for many different system concepts. ELCO cylinders combine efficiency, benefits and hygiene requirements in an attractive design.
Pump units
The pump groups with high-efficiency pumps for DN25 to DN40 can be attached directly to the boiler using special connection kits.
Clip-ins and extension controllers
Clip-ins and extension controllers are suitable for a wide range of applications, e.g. extensions for additional heating circuits, integration of solar energy, system separations and other useful functions.
