NEXUS FUTURA BITHERM receives WRAS approval
The NEXUS FUTURA BITHERM heat interface units from ELCO have received WRAS approval – bolstering their impressive credentials and making them an ideal choice for a wide range of residential applications.
NEXUS FUTURA BITHERM units are indirect wall mounted modules, which provide central heating transfer up to 19kW and instantaneous hot water services (HWS) up to 70kW.
The approval was granted following rigorous mechanical and water quality testing, during which the NEXUS FUTURA BITHERM HIUs demonstrated compliance with The Water Supply Regulations 1999 and The Water Supply Byelaws 2014.
Commenting on the certification, Managing Director at ELCO, Ian Bradley, said: “Over the last few years, the specification of network heating systems has grown considerably, mainly due to their inherent energy saving benefits. Although the units were always WRAS compliant, we can now proudly assure our customers that ELCO products consistently meet the highest standards of safety when installed correctly, giving total peace of mind.
“NEXUS FUTURA BITHERM units have always been popular in the industry, being a firm favourite of consultants and contractors alike. So, obtaining WRAS approval is sure to provide new opportunities for ELCO throughout the sector, and we’re sure that the units will be even more in demand for residential projects.”
The accreditation of the NEXUS FUTURA BITHERM units is yet another attribute of a feature packed range, with a central heating system pump, expansion vessel, filling point and water pressure gauge all included as standard.
